Our privacy policy sets out what personal buyer information we receive from our website, how we use it and under what circumstances, if any, we will share it with other parties. We abide by and are compliant with the Data Protection Act 1998 (herein referred to as “The DPA”) and the General Data Protection Regulation (herein referred to as “The GDPR”) which comes into effect on 25th May 2018. We are committed to keeping buyers’ personal information secure and confidential.

Under Article 6 of The GDPR, the lawful basis on which we process personal data received from our website is that of “Contract” - whereby processing is necessary in order to fulfill buyer orders and enquiries. We retain information provided by our website, such as transaction information for internal financial accounting purposes. It is a legal requirement to retain this information for a period of 7 years.

We receive personally identifiable information from our website only when it is voluntarily submitted by buyers when placing an on-line order. The data we receive includes: name, billing address, delivery name, delivery address, e-mail address (in encrypted format), telephone number, date of order, items ordered, value of items ordered, chosen method of delivery. We do not sell or rent personally identifiable information to any third party for any purpose.

We may use any personal buyer information provided by our website to:

• process and dispatch buyers’ order/s
• carry out regulatory checks to meet our legal obligations
• prevent and detect crime
• develop and improve our products
• undertake anonymised statistical analysis (we won’t be able to identify individuals from this data)

We treat all information we hold about buyers as private and confidential. We will not reveal any personal details or details concerning buyers’ orders to anyone not connected with us, unless:

• a buyer asks us to reveal the information, or we have a buyer’s permission to do so
• we are required or permitted to do so by law
• it is required by law enforcement, fraud prevention or credit reference agencies

We are committed to protecting your privacy and security as our customer. We are obliged by the Distance Selling Directive, the Data Protection legislation and all current Trade and Legal precedence and policies to respect your wishes.

Under The GDPR buyers are entitled to obtain from us (the Data Processor for the purposes of The GDPR when selling on our website) a copy of the data held concerning them and to have any inaccuracies in the data rectified. We are obliged to provide this data to within 1 calendar month of the request and free of charge. However we have the right to refuse or charge for requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive and repetitive.

From time to time we may use the information gathered in order to send you promotional information. You can at any time 'contact us' and we will opt you out of any aspect of our marketing programme.

We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. We never give your details to any other person or company.

We reserve the right to change and update the privacy policy and these changes will be posted on our web site. We encourage you to visit this page from time to time to ensure you are aware of any changes we may have made.

The main use of cookies on our website is to track your shopping session and update your shopping cart - it holds no personal data and expires when you close your browser. zenid - Zen Cart issues the zenid cookie to track your session. It expires when you close your browser.

Google Analytics:
__utma - Determines the unique visitor and visit count and it expires after 2 years.
__utmb - Tracks the customer variable set in our Google Analytics code to record the time you enter our website. It expires when you leave our website.
__utmc - Works with _utmb to work out the length of your visit on our website. Records the time you leave the site and expires 30 minutes after you leave our website.
__utmz - Records where you came from (on the Web), the search engine used to find our website, what links were clicked on, what keywords were used and where you were when you accessed the website. It expires after 6 months.
